Our mission is simple: to support my son’s journey towards a life-saving kidney transplant. With regular trips to Mayo Clinic for his appointments, the medical expenses are piling up faster than we expected, even with our insurance coverage. As a parent, it’s been a challenge for me to ask for help, which is why I’ve created this platform as a way for our community to lend a hand without me having to directly ask. Why Aiden Needed a Kidney
I was born with a right multicystic dysplastic kidney and a left cystic dysplastic kidney. The right kidney was full of cysts and never developed properly which also unfortunately means that it never had any function. My left kidney has slowly declined in function over my 14yrs of life and is now also unfortunately failing as well. This is why I needed desperately need a kidney transplant to save my life.
